'I-uh. What?'

Sunpatch flushed and noted that the sky was already very dark, "Do... uh.... you want to watch the stars with me?" she asked. Wow... Sunpatch, way to go! Ask the freaking deputy to watch the stars with you? How stupid can you get! It's not like he'd want to anyways.... She mentally scolded herself.
Scorchfur stayed silent a little bit. Contemplating it before he nodded. "Sure." He meowed. He hadn't done this since he was an apprentice!! He glanced at the scarred she-cat and rolled onto his back, half a tails-length from her. He cleared his throat, staring up through the canopy of bare branches, he shifted until he was comfortable. Silence filled the space around them as he concentrated on the stars. Silverpelt... their warrior ansester, his heart suddenly sank. He could rarely think of the cats up in StarClan without thinking of his parents. And remembering them always brought a wave of emotion through him. Mostly negetive feelings...
Sunpatch had been surprised when he had agreed. Her amber eye watched him, noting all the emotions that had been playing across his features. She could tell for a moment that he seemed almost... upset? Though she was still upset she decided to put that behind her... besides nothing was more fun than confusing Scorchfur. She inched a little closer to the tom, "So...... Scorchy," she drew his name out with a light purr and her amber eye twinkled, "I know I'm not a free piece of prey but I can totally tell when you're checking me out!" she winked.
Scorchfur was snapped from his trance as Sunpatch broke the silence. He glanced at her, surprise at how close she was inching and he blinked terribly confused. With a suffle he replaced the distance between them and awkwardly said, "I-uh. What?" He cleared his throat and then swallowed.
Sunpach rolled her eyes and shuffled a little closer til their shoulders were brushing and she sat up lightly, draping her arm over his stomach, almost on top of the tom. She looked down at him with a light smile on her face. "Do you have some cobwebs, cause I just cut my paw falling for you." she said with another wink. This was just too much fun! She smiled brightly, trying to mute her giggles.
Scorchfur's eyes were wide as moons as Sunpatch drapped herself across his stomach. "I-uhhhhhhh." He gapped and scrambled out from under her, gently so he didn't hurt her feelings. He cleared his throat and sat up. "I could go find some." He offered weakly
Sunpatch couldn't help it anymore. She fell to her stomach, giggling. "Oh... my... StarClan... your... expression... was.... priceless!!!!" she just collapsed in a fit of giggles. "No... you.. don't... need... to.. get... any... cobwebs." she stated in between giggles. She hadn't felt this good in awhile. It feel really great to laugh like this.
Scorchfur pursed his lips as Sunpatch collasped into a fit of laughter into the snow. What was he suppose to do? He shifted his weight between his paws awkwardly. What in the name of StarCLan was happening!?! "A-are you sure? I'm sure there are some around here...
Sunpatch rolled her eyes and got up slowly, "I'm fine... besides I was just doing that to break the silence." she said with a light smile. She touched her tail to his shoulder, "I'll leave you alone... your reaction is just really funny... and you're quite adorable when you are confused like that." she nudged his shoulder with her own before laying back down.
Scorchfur took a deep breath. Furrowing his brow as he tried to peice together the preceeding events. adorable? Sure he was confused... but adorable. "I haven't had somebody call me that since I was a kit." He meowed, trying to even his voice out back to normal.


Let's just say that I think Scorchy was going to have a heart attack. Raine loves torturing him
